[ It's early evening when Hawke messages Cullen. He's feeling a little better than when he arrived. A couple weeks to get settled and the consentacles eager but respectful efforts have done... well maybe not wonders, but he's at least ready to talk to someone familiar that doesn't come with an enormous load of baggage attached.

Funny how that describes Cullen now. But compared to both Fenris and Bethany, this Cullen is as close a friend as Varric ever was. Especially after drunkenly bleeding words at each other over cornhole and the sound of the tide. ]

Hey Cullen. Ivy said you were the same Cullen from Duplicity so I thought I would say hello. I'm glad you were able to find each other again under better circumstances.

[ His well-wish is genuine, and he believes he does a decent enough job of keeping any envy he has over that completely out of his expression and voice. What he neglected to do is tidy his small, government-granted apartment. The mostly obscured scene behind him is a chaos of pillows and blankets on the floor, a few cans and fast food containers around, though not many. As if Hawke's been nesting there on the living room floor much like his namesake. At least he's dressed and bathed, if a bit unkempt. ]

Maybe we could go for a beer sometime and catch up?

[The tone is light. He never ribs anyone he doesn't like. He's not sorry to see a familiar face, the small group from Duplicity ever growing. Probably best not to ask too closely why. Running in circles only ever gave him headaches in the other city.]

I've been here just long enough to have a few favored places. It'll be a pleasure.

[The state of the apartment tells him something he hasn't asked. He doubts Anders is there. He was always tidy at Haven.]

When would you like to venture out? My schedule is open.

[ The gentle, camraderic insult pulls a bit of a grin from Adalwolfe. It's incredibly welcoming to be recognized for exactly who he is. Not a Hawke, not from some previous time period, but just Wolfe, as he is. ]

That's me, always ready to pay for someone's thoughts.

[ Ehh?? Get it?? Cause a penny for-- Oh nevermind. Wolfe snorts at himself and rubs his shoulder. ]

Honestly I haven't even found a job just yet so my time is welcome to be taken up with familiar company. I'd love to hear your take on this place, considering our similar travels.
