Once a templar, Cullen was recruited after the destruction of Kirkwall's Chantry and the madness of his Knight-Commander led to her death to lead the Inquisition's troops in an effort to find peace in the mage-templar war. Soon enough a much larger threat rent the sky above Thedas, and Cullen and the Inquisition both became far more than anyone had dreamed possible.
He prays he is up to the task.
