"Tevinter's don't follow their gut," he says as he runs a finger over his mustache. "We do what's most politically advantageous to us. Wilken will be better for the city politically as long as you can keep that temper under control. Now, what's politically better isn't always what's better in the general sense."

Dorian knows it well. He's quite familiar with doing what's best for himself instead of politically. He doesn't need to explain that to Cullen right now or ever, really.
